I could not find any option to see a list of websites where embed codes have been used. If you find any issue please do tell. I will change it accordingly

Most cases there wont be any need to update the embed code, because we will make sure that old embed code also work in any case of future updates.\ There are reasons why ur embed may not work, if the bandwidth have expired or ur domain restricted, or ur personalized urls are wrong, we can recheck the embed code same or not as shown in the app, there is no scenarios generating new embed code or embed code getting expired.

OVERVIEW

Have you faced a problem where your embedded SHOW video player doesn't show up? A probable cause is the embed code for that video is not updated. Always make sure your embed codes for your embedded videos are up to date.

Another reason for updating your embed codes is the improved functionality of your statistics. That doesn't mean you'll lose your old stats. They will still be available and you can still continue to generate new stats.

HOW?

You need to follow a few processes:

Process #1: Find the outdated embed codes

It is easier to spot the outdated ones if you have only a few videos embedded. If you can't spot them, don't worry just do the following:

  • Did you receive a mail from SHOW admin regarding this issue?\ Our system admins usually search for any expired embed codes. When they find them, they send an email with the list of outdated ones. If you haven't received a mail with the list., no worries you can try our next step.

  • Go to your Video's Analytics page\ You can go to the Video's Analytics page and you can check the list of websites where your videos are embedded. You can spot the website with the embedded video that doesn't work. You will need to\ update the embed codes of this website.

Process #2: Generate new Embed Codes

The first thing you need to do is generate a new embed code for each of the videos with expired embed codes in your SHOW account. Then, you have to replace the existing embed codes of all the websites with the outdated ones with the new embed codes. You can learn to generate new embed codes here.

Process #3: Do a double check if all the expired embeds have been replaced

You can then check if all the expired embeds have been replaced with the new embed codes. If you have, Congrats! Job Well Done!
